Frequent questions
Is it sexual?
No. Our events in Bogotá are social gatherings, not sexual events.
In a community survey of 733 people (self-selected, not a clinical measurement, mostly from the United States, not Colombia), 49.03% experience pup play as equally social and sexual, 22.5% as mostly social and 4.42% as exclusively sexual.
Do I need gear?
No. No hood, mask or knee pads: nothing that costs money. Pup play is a state, not an outfit. Whoever has gear uses it; whoever has none plays the same.
Who is in charge here?
Nobody. No leaders, no alphas, no ranks.
Whoever hosts answers for one night: venue, list and contact with building management. They represent and command nobody. Everyone decides whether to play, with whom and when to stop.
Is it safe?
Yes. The rules exist for that:
- Consent: all contact needs a clear yes; a no always counts.
- Age: everyone is 18 or older.
- Responsible: one named person with phone, all night.
- Entry: only with the guest list.
Can I go without knowing anyone?
Yes. Most arrive like that the first time.
You register, get date and venue, and come. The movie and the BBQ are easy formats: be, watch and talk with whoever you like. Nobody has to play.
Do I have to show my face?
No. You register with an alias, and that alias is enough.
No image with a recognizable face is taken or published without written consent. If the venue requires names, we ask your name and ID number (cédula) a few days before with your express consent; those data are deleted 30 days later.
