Frequent questions
What if I don't know anyone?
Normal: most arrive like that the first time.
You register, get date and venue, show up. Movie and BBQ are easy starts: watch, hang around, chat with whoever feels right. Nobody has to play, woof.
Do I have to buy a hood?
Not at all: hood, mask, knee pads, nothing that costs money.
Pup play is something you feel, not something you wear. Own gear and feel like it? Bring it; if not, you play the same.
How sexual does it get?
Our events in Bogotá are social gatherings, not sexual ones.
A community survey with 733 participants: 49.03% experience pup play as equally social and sexual, 22.5% as mostly social, 4.42% as exclusively sexual. Context: self-selected, not a clinical measurement, mostly from the United States, not Colombia.
Who gives the orders?
Nobody: no leaders, no alphas, no ranks.
Whoever puts the night together answers for it: venue, list, building management. They represent and command nobody. You decide whether to play, with whom and when to stop.
What keeps me safe?
The rules protect you:
- Consent: every touch needs a clear yes; a no always counts.
- Age: everyone is 18 or older.
- Responsible: one named person with phone, all night.
- Entry: only with the guest list.
Must I give my real name?
No: you register with an alias, and that is enough.
No image with a recognizable face is taken or published without written consent. If the venue requires names, we ask name and ID number (cédula) days before with your express consent; the data are deleted 30 days later.
